Aequalis is able to perform dimensional inspections and measurements either in their home or at the Customer’s premises. The high precision instruments used, coupled with room environmental control, allows to reach measuring uncertainties adequate to every requirement.


CMM WITH CONTACT MEASURING HEAD

The FARO Gage Plus owned by Aequalis is a portable measuring instrument with an operating diameter of 1.2 m and an accuracy up to ± 0,005 mm. The many types of support fixtures allow a quick and easy use directly on the machine. Since the Gage is a measuring instrument with high precision, is used both in production, both in quality control, replacing the traditional measuring machines. The Gage Plus is an effective alternative to the CMM, more expensive and complex to be used

CMM WITH LASER SCANNER MEASURING HEAD

Our 3D optical laser scanning devices, allow to obtain fast, accurate and flexible inspections unthinkable with other detection systems. With our laser is possible to store 3D points data in a single scanning file. The laser scanning performs with a detection speed up to 19,000 points per second, allowing to quickly scan even complex shapes. The performance data is considerably higher than other acquisition systems.

POINT CLOUD-TO-3D CAD COMPARISON

The laser technology applications allow the comparison of scanning results with the reference 3D CAD models of any object. This application allows you to highlight any critical area and in particular the actual dimensional gap between the product and the related design. The result is immediately visible through a graduated colour scale which highlights the gaps on the object surface. The comparison software also allows to highlight the critical gaps by means of snapshots on particular areas of the sample and to investigate deviations detected in areas of particular interest (machine allowance, assembling interference, etc.).

 


REVERSE ENGINEERING E PROTOTIPING

There are many applications where the technologies that we propose are now become indispensable, as reverse engineering to obtain daily use objects, but also for mechanical design (motorcycle, cars, scooters, boats, etc. ...) . The 3D CAD model, obtained by laser scanning, allows the fast productions of moulds for prototypes and small series in different materials (polyurethane, aluminium, plexyglass, plastics, etc.). The replication of the style model allows the rapid product development and therefore a significant containment of time to market. Each work is performed within our facilities so as to ensure the necessary confidentiality and the continuous monitoring of the working progress.
